Do you think Bourne is becoming over populated due to the increasing number of new homes being built in the area? Do you think the town needs any more housing and if not what do you think could be done to ease the situation?

The public toilets in Bourne seem to be in a sorry state of affairs just recently - rubbish, broken glass and graffiti are just some the common signs showing a general lack of care and maintenance in the town’s only public convenience toilets. This not only portrays a bad image about the town to visitors but also deters many residents from using the facilities as they become a no-go area. Please tell us your comments about the toilets and what you think can be done to improve the facilities.
Tell us what you think of Bourne and the surrounding area. Would you consider Bourne to be a nice place to live? What do you think could help improve Bourne? One frequent suggestion is that more leisure facilities are needed in the town to provide more entertainment, especially for the town’s children and teenagers. Would you agree with this, and if so what leisure facilities are needed?
The affects of the credit crunch are all too evident in Bourne, and indeed the rest of the country at the present time. There have been many recent reports that the credit crunch is affecting trade in the town and that less people are venturing out to the town’s pubs and nightclubs thus Bourne’s once vibrant nightlife is seeing a noticeable decline. House prices are also beginning to drop in the area with many estate agents reporting a significant decrease in the number of sales being made. But are things really as bad as the media suggests? Tell us how the credit crunch is affecting your everyday life. Are you finding it harder to fund basic living costs? Are you going out less because of this?
